Steps to Delete wrong entry in QuickBooks

Step 1. For the main menu of QuickBooks, select lists tab. Now choose the wrong entry you want to remove from the drop-down menu. Take from charts of accounts, customer or Item lists or vendor lists.

Step 2. Click on the entry you want to remove from Open lists. To avoid opening the separate edit dialog window, ensure you single click on the entry.

Step 3. From the menu, choose edit & click on Delete List option. QuickBooks will delete the chosen entry from the list. Now, click on Save option & then turn to close to update the changes & shut down the button.
